Hi, I'm Patty...

I am a Cuban-American born in Miami. I am a dedicated, compassionate and passionate wife and mother of 2 amazing kids. I know what it is like to want to support your career and family, manage a home and business, while carving out time for self-care and scheduling a night out.

In 2011, I had my amazing son. I had a Cesarean Section birth, which changed my outlook on birth and motherhood. My life changed and this became my reason for the launch of my private practice, The Expression Center. In 2015, my little family was completed with my daughter, who was born via VBAC, Vaginal Birth After Cesarean. This was a powerful journey of healing, learning and growth. My family is my passion, not a 9-5 job. For this reason, my passion is transferred to working with mothers every day, who choose to put their motherhood journey and healing as their priority, because being a happy and healthy mom is a priority.

Using traditional therapeutic tools and techniques combined with the power of the subconscious mind to create change through hypnosis, I help women and mothers to work through their challenges and struggles as they release fears and limiting beliefs to shift their mindset to build understanding and confidence in themselves and in their motherhood journey.

I will help you to inspire and empower your thinking and choices by releasing traumas of the past, fears and negative thought patterns, develop a deep appreciation and gratitude for growth with each small step, and bring calm and excitement back into your reality. I will listen, support, and guide you to become the mother your wish to be.

There are many books and many opinions that you will come across as you search for your place in your motherhood journey. This too often leads to doubt, distrust or second guessing yourself. I will help you to release these feeling and start living in your power.

Mrs. Patricia M. Castellanos is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Hypnotherapist. She earned her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and Certification in Clinical Hypnosis through the International Association for Counselors and Therapists. Additionally, she received a Certification as a HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator through HypnoBirthing International.

Mrs. Castellanos has worked in the Miami-Dade and Broward County areas for over 12 years. She is the founder of The Expression Center, a private practice dedicated to supporting women and mothers into and through the motherhood journey. She has presented at professional conferences in Miami-Dade and Broward counties on the topics of diversity, birth trauma, parenting, wellness, ADHD and Behavioral skills and has published articles on holistic treatments to ADHD. She has facilitated several parenting and personal growth workshops and seminars to the community, where upon follow up, resulted in positive outcomes to those in attendance.

During her extensive career, she has focused on assisting clients with life transitions, parenting, relationships, depression, anxiety, stress management, behavioral issues, healing from birth trauma and general life difficulties through Integrative Mental Health. Mrs. Castellanos has worked with a broad spectrum of clients and maintains a culturally competent practice. Her approach utilizes empowerment and positive interventions with evidence-based models of practice to build on your strengths and insight. She is innovative and creative in her approach to helping clients find the clarity and understanding to reach their goals. Her methodology merges traditional models with contemporary approaches and real life applications.

Through the therapeutic alliance, she assists her clients to discover negative patterns or perceptions that may be holding them back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. She works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and gain insight to reach their goals and evolve,

Patricia is an active member of the American Counseling Association, the International Association for Counselors and Therapists, and HypnoBirthing Institute. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
