I’m Patty M. Castellanos, a Cuban-American, wife, and mom of two. Motherhood reshaped my life in profound ways—my son’s Cesarean birth in 2011 shifted how I viewed birth and myself, and my daughter’s VBAC in 2015 became a healing journey that inspired me to support other women through their own transformations. That passion became the foundation for my private practice, The Expression Center.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Hypnotherapist, I bring both professional expertise and compassionate care to my work. I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, advanced certification in Clinical Hypnosis through the International Association for Counselors and Therapists, and additional certifications as a HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator, HypnoFertility Practitioner, and Gentle Menopause Practitioner. I am also an active member of the American Counseling Association, the International Association for Counselors and Therapists, the International Certification Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy, and the HypnoBirthing Institute.
Through a blend of traditional therapeutic approaches and the power of hypnosis and mindfulness, I help women release fear, ease anxiety, and build self-trust. HypnoBirthing is a tried and proven method that guides and prepares a woman in giving birth in a peaceful and extraordinarily beautiful manner. It is a program that considers the psychological, as well as the physical well-being of the mother, her birth companion, and the newborn, whether that be in the quiet of a home, a hospital, or a birth center.
