Many women experience some changes in their mood, such as sadness or worry during pregnancy or after becoming a mother. These changes are often normal and do not last long.
80% of women experience the "baby blues" which is a normal period of adjustment which typically lasts 2-3 weeks after childbirth or bringing a new child into your life. During this time women report sadness, worry and mood swings. The “baby blues” typically resolve on their own and don't require professional intervention unless the mother wants support.
1 in 5 women will develop a postpartum mood disorder such as postpartum depression or anxiety in the first year after birth. Symptoms may include difficulty sleeping, changes in appetite, sadness or worry and irritability.

The Anxiety and Stress Release Private Session is designed to support the client recognizing stressful or anxiety inducing situations and release them through an individualized process of deep relaxation and hypnosis practice to better focus on all the joys and positives that the motherhood journey brings.
